    and for the story behind Sellers dream ...We always had the same dream my husband & I, finding a place on this beautiful blue planet where we could feel at home the rest of our lives in a tropical climate. We wanted to be surrounded with people who want to enjoy life and live every little precious moments... Our retirement plan was to build a dream home, and turn it into private comfortable resort. We wanted it to have the feel of friends and family vacations place, where it's small enough to feel like your at home, and still have a lot of private space everywhere around the resort to enjoy some solitude. A place where people don't have to worry about anything else than to enjoy a real vacation, and, think only to pamper themselves.Our vision was for a variety of retreats. Corporate, exercise, yoga and especially for diving groups. (My husband was a diving instructor and had a lot of friends who are divers). We all know all the treasures Belize coral reefs has to offer, so it was clear to us we would have a unique set up for them. The pool was built with 2 depths with diving clientele in mind. The shallow part to relax, sunbath and have a cocktail, and the 9'6" deep section would've been perfect for practice and check equipment before they go diving. We had planned the seawall for the boats to be able to pick them up directly here instead of them having to travel to Belize City or to the Cayes to dive. We installed on the ground floor a shower stall and basin to wash and dry diving gears. At night, we planned to make a rounded sitting area with a center wood fire pit, to enjoy life a little bit more. Play music, smores, few drinks... A BBQ would be available for them to cook their meals close to the fire pit. A small pergola for smokers also would be available with swings chairs away from the building to prevent smell to turn inside the pool area. The rooms all would have equipped kitchens with small 7cu.ft. fridge, pots and pans, microwave, toaster oven. We'll have a mini bar in their rooms, and have a wine cellar as well as beer & liquor available to purchase. The decor would be modern, clean and ZEN look. Barn doors, large closet space, wide acrylic sinks, swivel cabinets, special decorative glass work with LED lighting in strategic places to enhance relaxation. Wall colors would be in the soft pallet, with tropical trims and accents. The second floor terrace would have a huge pergola with double swing chairs, an alcove with a gas fire pit, in front of the building with few transat chairs, and few sittings, to enjoy the sun, shade, sea, stars.. The room on the 2nd floor are a little bigger and have same description but different layout, with an amazing view. On the owner's side, we planned an event room with sink, microwave/hood, TV, fridge, that would be used also as a gym, and where all the music instruments would be available for the guests. A set of electronic drum, a full vintage drums set, a electronic pad, guitars, congas, bongos, etc ... We will have a massive staircase to the roof top with swing chairs and transat for stargazers. The height of the building is approximately 45-50' high when finished. Can you imagine the view !!! **I wanted to offer the guests the possibility of outdoor massage on the rooftop, under the pergola, or yoga, Tai Chi or any other activity enjoyable looking at the sea. We wanted B&B, so it includes the real MONTREAL style breakfast! Crpes, french toasts, galette de Sarrazin, fresh homemade bread, croissants, muffins, creton, etc... At sunset, we would set up the candles around and in the pool area, and play jazz, blues, soft music and offer same possibility to eat fast food or healthy menu.
